Rajasthan Royals 2020 Team Squad

With the rising season of Indian Premier League 2020, the teams are almost done with the virtual launch. So, is the “Money-ball” team; popularly known as “Rajasthan Royals”. RR has always been a star in the eyes of spectators. The will, determination and hard-work of this team had always been worth a shot. With a score of 81 winning matches, the team makes us skip a beat. A constant holder of cheers and wishes, the team never fail to spread sparkles. The energy of this franchise is always seen, even with the tagline, “#HallaBol”. The 2020 season will be the 11th season for the royals in Indian Premier League.

The Royals will be steering ahead with these international talents towards victory and guiding the young players with experience. 1. Jos Buttler

With the joining of Jos Buttler, English wicket-keeper batsman in 2018 sorted the top batting series of Rajasthan Royals and a turning point in his life. He smashed 548 runs in just 13 games at an outstanding average of 54.80 in his first ever season as a Royals player. He continued his good run of form in the 2019 season as he scored 311 runs in just eight innings at an excellent average of 38.87. Thus, he is a complete game changer and tands to take away the game from opposition.

2. Steve Smith

An ace Australian batsman and a lead of Rajasthan Royals batting scheme is tough to handle. Smith has a vast experience of playing in the league and has amassed over 2000 runs at an excellent average of 37.44. His overall league strike-rate is 128.95 but he will look to improve on that. Since 2019, Smith has scored 250 runs in T20s at a much improved strike-rate of over 145 at a mammoth average of 83.33. Smith scored a commendable 319 runs for the Royals in 2019 at a healthy average of 39.87. Thus, there’s a complete chance to observe further improvement this season.

3. Yashasvi Jaiswal

 The talented left-hander, who is one of the brightest young talents in the country is a fresh member in the team. Observing the potential and talent, the management in course for a tough decision of where to place him in the batting scheme. Boasting the name as a well talented batsman, may be seen in the top order ranking of the team. Holding high hopes, the team is in regular practice with Yashasvi in-order to pitch in with a list of strong batsmen. The left-handed star batter announced himself by attaining 400 runs during India’s U-19 2020 World Cup.

4. Ben Stokes

The all-rounder pivotal player of the international cricket is one of the watch-out players of the team. During the last year England World Cup victory over Australia, he drew up some brilliant knocks. Moreover, with Indian Premier League Stokes is ready for a sparkling tournament and is looking forward to an outstanding form of his, as he step up for this big stage.

5. Jofra Archer

A well known leader of Rajasthan Royals with a remarkable bowling attack since 2018 in the international cricket is again a step up for the team when it comes to numbers.  In two editions of the tournament, Archer has played a total of 21 matches and has picked up 26 wickets at a superb strike-rate of 18.88. His overall economy rate in the league is 7.52, and his improved economy of 6.76 in the 2019 season. This depicts the stats in upward direction. This season, it’s well expected that when the team may need a hit on the numbers of wickets, Archer will be their go-to bowler.
