After asking #KabAayegaMirzapur2 , twitteratis demand for the boycott of the renowned show. The crime-thriller show first streamed in 2018 on Amazon Prime. The Amazon Prime Original will stream on 23rd October starring Ali Fazal that happens to be the reason by some fans turned foes want to boycott the show.

The reason for the rage happens to be some tweets the actor wrote on Twitter in favor of nation-wide protests against CAA and NRC. The netizens have taken a particular tweet to offence where the actor had apparently used his character Guddu’s dialogue from Mirzapur. It read, “Suru majboori mein kiye thhey, ab maja aa raha hai !” The point being that the outrage has came up after several months since the tweet was posted on Twitter. So because of these tweets, netizens have called for a boycott of the upcoming season of Mirzapur. Only time will tell whether these trends would impact the success of Season 2 of Mirzapur or not.

Despite all the hate the show is receiving, there are also plenty of tweets and memes in support of the show. This evidently incates the fanbase of Mirzapur and shows the excitement that people contain. However, nothing changes the fact that the show will start streaming from October 23 after almost 2 years of patience and Guddu bhaiya played by Ali Fazal will be back to exact his revenge from Divyendu Sharma’s Munna after that bloody ending in the first part. If you need a reminder, the show also features Vikrant Massey, Pankaj Tripathi, Shweta Tripathi and Rasika Duggal among others. Sadly, we might not be able to see Vikrant Massey as his character was killed by Munna, last season. The show is co-directed by Karan Anshuman and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment. And dare we say, we are ready for the bhaukaal!
